What is an Armoured Vehicle: Understanding the Armour concepts

Armored vehicle is a vehicle that is protected by armor plate or a vehicle equipped with ballistic protection is known as an armoured vehicle.

Some times armored vehicle is also knoen as an AFV or armoured fighting vehicle. 

An armoured fighting vehicle or  AFV  is a military vehicle, protected by strong armour and armed with weapons.
